Total hair genius!! The salon has a lovely London feel about it, with a very relaxed atmosphere. I booked on a recommendation from a friend (which reminds me, I must send her a thank you card!) and wasn’t disappointed. Liam looked through photos with me and I gave him an idea of where I was trying to get to. He was very honest and let me know it may take several cuts and some time. Still, just over an hour later, I left with hair that looked exactly like one of the photos I brought in. Genuinely couldn’t stop smiling all day (and my husband loved it!). I cannot recommend Liam highly enough. Thank you Liam. Can’t wait to come back!

I had my first visit to Donovan Hairdressing a couple of week’s ago after reading some excellent reviews. Julia highlighted and cut my hair and I absolutely love it. She really listened to what I wanted and I have had so many compliments on the cut and colour. Having spent the weekend with my family, they all said they have never seen my hair look so good. So a big thank you. At last I have found a salon I love as, apart from great colour and cut, it also has a lovely warm, relaxing atmosphere.

I first went to Liam in 2012 and have followed him down to London and back to Hitchin, he is easily the best stylist I have had. I am so glad he has opened his own salon, which is very stylish and always a friendly welcome. I have recommended him to my friends and family who now all use him. I had a great haircut by Liam when he was based in London a few years back and heard he was now in Hitchin. I dropped by at the weekend and again came away with exactly what I wanted. My hair is tricky for many stylists, but Liam certainly knows his stuff. Great cut, good guy, Highly recommended.

I went in for a complete change of style and was VERY impressed by the whole experience, from the discussion with the stylist about style and colour, through the hairwashing with head massage, to the final styling stage. To say that Julia did a good job on my hair would be incorrect. She did a completely amazing job. I had a restyle and a change of colour to a shade that I had never tried before, and on both counts Julia deserves five stars. I went from very long hair to a choppy long bob, and I particularly wanted something that looked casual and easy to maintain. Julia worked from my requirements and a couple of Googled images and created a style that works really nicely and looks great. How lovely to also be able to step out of the salon into sunshine for a bit of promenading round town to show off my new look!
